it's been kinda quiet

around here lately. not much going on.time for this gram to head over to see my sweet pea....

i've been doing more rearranging and cleaning. yikes things get so dusty when the furnace is on. i redid this desk area in our kitchen a bit. i did have a little white cupboard on the desk for quite a while and decided it was time to take that out and simplify a bit.on the top here is an old frame that was gold,but,needed and got some white paint.much better!

FINALLY there is beautiful

color everywhere! we took a drive last weekend by the river and all was still pretty green. one week later and i can get great colors right in our own yard and neighborhood. this is our birch tree... the burning bush out in front of the house....

well she's crawling

now too! she's been sitting up on her own for a couple of weeks and now this! she's seven months old today. seems like she's doing this stuff a bit early but, it's been a long time since my baby was a baby.... :) i bought her a little tiara for halloween cause she is our princess you know. she could see the tinsel and "fur" and kept putting her head up to try and see what was there! so funny....

i about cried when i saw this photo

jill sent yesterday! my sweet pea is sitting up all by herself. looks so much like her mommy at that age. doesn't she have great posture?lol that won't last if she is anything like the rest of our family! maybe her daddy's family has better posture? i'll have to see next time i'm around them! lol!with the bird??( sorry about the lighting but,it's rainy and over cast today as i'm trying to take photos of some stuff i'm changing around).
or without? i can't decide right now.... bookcase in our family room.

this little white pumpkin

needed some halloween fun. vic gave me this blackbird and the barb wire looking hmm, what do you call it?? i don't know,trim? anyway,it it's made out of paper and it's cool and just adds a finishing touch. cool huh?
you can twist it any old way you want and i did! i also cut it so i could use it....

here. i think if you wanted you could twist it back together if you needed it for a different spot next year. good cause i'm always changing my mind about stuff,in case you hadn't figured that out by now. :)
oh the trees are gorgeous. we are going for a drive later so i can take pictures and bud can chauffeur me around.

as usual. it's been two weeks now since i've seen her. maybe it's time for us to go visit? got an early birthday gift from vic....love this vintage looking shelf. i just have to find a good place to hang it.
also an early birthday gift,isn't this the cutest little "snack set" from dear jan. thanks so much girls.i'm so lucky to have these girls for friends. so thoughtful....always,not just for birthdays. :)

i had a nice weekend

hope you all did too. just wanted to show you my purchases when my sis and mom and i did a little shopping on friday. i just got the bowl and the tapestry runner. wanted something with some color.but, it's so hard to see cause of the non-sunshiney day! friday was a wonderful fall day. the weather was perfect so we took a drive after shopping and went to the park.
my hometown park is so pretty. it's been thru alot with flooding and time but, you still get that calm serene feel when you are there on a day like friday was.

for winter clothes for kaylie yesterday and look what they found! just a little too big but, so darn cute! she is such a little sweetie. LOVE this baby girl....... :)

changing things out

a bit. just moving stuff around that i already have. i love to do this and always have. i don't know,but, i think it's not that i'm never satisfied it's just the "decorator" in me. i have to take back what i said about already having everything,sort of, the white pitcher is new,from my saturday trip to t.j.maxx.other than that nothing new just the vignettes.
bud has wanted to get a remote control helicopter for a long time now. not for himself really ,he wanted it for cully to chase and of course to see his reaction to it in flight. well, it's pretty funny.
he already knows it by name and starts going crazy barking and jumping at bud, at the mention of helicopter!
if he can't get bud to get going fast enough he starts in on me with his barking/begging! too funny
